Access: leave the "Autostrada dei Fiori" Highway (A10) at Ventimiglia. Run across SS 1 towards Imperia for about 2 km and turn on the left in Val Nervia, heading for Dolceacqua. Cross this nice medieval village and after about 1 Km turn on the left and reach Rocchetta Nervina village. Park in the main square of the village, where the road ends.

Approach: leave the parking and cross rio Barbaira on a medieval bridge, then pass an archway and soon turn on the left in via San Bernardo. This road soon becomes a path that goes up through little gardens, always high on the river. Overtake some ruins and little chapels and after about 45 minutes reach a demolished building used by beekeepers; 100 meters over a path on the left leads to the Cin bridge, over the river.

Coming Back: after the last fal go on for about 30 minutes among little rocks and pools (quite boring part); just under a little artificial dam take a path on the right which in about 10 minutes leads to Rocchetta Nervina.

Note: since 2003 you have to pay for the descent: 3 euros to the town hall of Rocchetta Nervina...
