Access: leave the "Autostrada dei Fiori" Highway (A10) at Ventimiglia. Run across SS 1 towards Imperia for about 3 km and turn onto the road to the Val Nervia, towards Dolceacqua, Buggio. Go on after Pigna following the signs for Buggio; rise around the village going on the road which enters into the Incisa Valley and overtake 4 bends. Just after the fourth one, the paved road ends. Park in a little open space before the bend,on the right.

Approach: from the bend a marked path (red-white) rises and after few minutes you meet two black pipes of water main supply. In a while you walk some 100 hundred meters over the canyon, and the path becomes flat. After about 25 minutes from the start, take a little diversion on the right and get to the river bed, near a sign wich marks the beginning of the descent.

Coming back: the way out is on the right of a water-level control station. Take the track rising up to the village and then, after passing under an archway, a concrete stairway takes you to the road, 200 meters before the bend where you parked the car.
