Access: leave highway A48 at Sassenage, 5 kilometers north of Grenoble. Once in the village follow the indications for the caves of Les Cuves. Park the car Reach in a non aphalted open space on the left of a power station.

Approach: take the path leading steeply to the caves, cross a little bridge over a river coming out from a cave, then pass over the entrance of the Cuves and go on the path. Cross the Furon on a little iron bridge and begin the descent. It's also possible to descend the upper part of the canyon, but it only offers a 12 meters high fall and a long walk along the slippery river bed without any interesting passage. To reach the beginning of this part proceed on the same path until an artificial pool of quite stagnant water, dominated by a building on the right.

Coming Back: rise up from the river bed to the lower parking.
