For who is coming from East, leave the Brennero highway at Rovereto, reach Riva del Garda and then rise up towards Storo. In both cases, once in the Ledro valley, head for the Laghetto d'Ampola (a little lake), where it's possible to park near the homonymous hut.
upper: from the hotel take the road towards Passo Tremalzo and, after the church of S. Croce, take a little asphalted road at 1230 m on the sea level, with a road closed sign (from the 1st of November till the 30th of April), reaching a bridge over the Rio, at 1123 m on the sea level.

Approach: from the parking take reach the Rio Nero bed.

Coming back: the end of the gorge leads directly on to the grass in front of the hut.
