Access: leave highway A10 at Arenzano and head for Cogoleto; once in the middle of the village, turn right under a bridge towards Sciarborasca. After 3 km turn left just before the village of Sciarborasca, taking Via al Deserto ("Road to the Desert") and run for about 5 km along this narrow road passing over the "Eremo del Deserto"; pass over a pair of bends and, 1 km after the Eremo, cross the Rio Prialunga. Just 100 meters ahead you can park the car in the parking lot of Agriturismo la Fonda, asking for permission to the owner.

Approach: on the left of la Fonda a path (yellow signs) rises through the fields, overtakes few buildings and then goes down towards a creek. Just before the wade the path leaves the mule-track and rises up on the right, always well marked in yellow. Now you go on passing over two abandoned huts on the right, then turn right (indication post up on a tree on the left) and go on until you meet an aqueduct pipe concrete inspection tank (keep this tank as a landmark to avoid to get lost). Take the path on the right, where the track goes along a beautiful old dry wall and sometimes it's possible to take wonderful sights of the sea. At the end of the wall, pass over a path running down towards the water (intermediate access) and go on a track steeply rising on the left, not very easy to be seen, always yellow marked. After another aqueduct tank the path turns right going half way along the Monte Beigua; a little river on the left, dry during summer, shows the beginning of the descent, marked by a yellow triangle with the inscription "rio".

Coming back: at the first unequipped waterfall a path leaves the river bed on the left. After few meters there is the wade that takes you on the other side and following the path you soon get to La Fonda.

Note: we advise not to park out of the Agriturismo, many car burglary took place in recent years
